Join Mia for a playful, hands‑on creative session where children design their very own Cornish mythical creatures — then turn them into a fully illustrated mini‑zine! Inspired by Cornish Folklore and Stories, this workshop invites young creators to dream big, draw boldly, and build worlds of their own.

What will the kids do?

Invent a Mythical Creature

Children will imagine and design unique beasts using prompts and inspiration from Cornish Folklore. From Piskies and Giants to Mermaids and Witches! — the sky’s the limit!

World‑Building & Creature Facts

They’ll explore their creature’s home, abilities, strengths, weaknesses, habits and more, turning their ideas into a fun guide that feels straight out of a fantasy field manual.

Create a Mini Zine

All the creature’s designs and details come together in a personalised folded zine — a pocket-sized book they can take home and proudly share.
