📈 6:15pm | Looking Forward: A Library for the 21st Century
Over the past three years, Liskeard Library has entered a new chapter. In partnership with Cornwall Library Service, Real Ideas has worked to ensure this historic building continues to serve the community in new and meaningful ways.
Join us as we look back on three years of activity, creativity, learning and community impact through the voices of the people who have helped shape the library we know today. We'll hear from community partners, volunteers, programme participants and library users whose stories demonstrate the difference a library can make.
The session will include reflections on:
- Community events and cultural programmes
- Digital inclusion and skills development
- Young people's projects and pathways programmes
- Volunteer contributions
- Health, wellbeing and family support initiatives
- Creative opportunities and lifelong learning
We'll also invite attendees to contribute to our growing collection of "130 things the library means to you", capturing memories, reflections and hopes for the future.
