Slow down, get creative, and make something beautiful this festive season.
Join mixed media artist Agnieszka Zając for a relaxing and intuitive workshop exploring the art of mixed media decoupage. Using paper, fabric, imagery, found materials and delicate decorative elements, you'll create a richly layered abstract artwork while discovering a creative process that is both playful and restorative.
Originating in Europe during the 17th century, decoupage is a decorative art form built around cutting, layering and composing materials to transform ordinary surfaces into unique works of art. In this workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of the technique while exploring colour, texture, balance and composition through experimentation and creative freedom.
This is a workshop focused on process rather than perfection. You'll be encouraged to follow your curiosity, work intuitively, and enjoy the calming, mindful qualities of creating with your hands.
